Artie Romero has 17 years of motion picture and television screen credits. He was a Master Teacher of Animation for the Colorado Springs School District 11 Gifted and Talented Program from 1982 to 1983, and served as Dean of Animation at Inkspinner Schools of Art from 1993 to 1996.

He owns two companies in Colorado Springs, Artie Romero Graphics, an ad agency and home of ARG! Cartoon Animation Studio, and CityStar Online, an IPP.
